Sandplay therapy is available for any interested client, as it has become a passion for me. I regularly engage in consultation with other Sandplay therapists and continue my training in this modality. I also plan on continuing with my international involvement in the Sandplay community. I am amazed at the way in which Sandplay therapy is a universal “language” and cuts across cultural differences.

Experience

During my internship with USF, I worked for a year at an inpatient rehab facility for women addicted to drugs and alcohol. I did my post graduate internship with Dr. Rhett Brandt in Lakeland, FL, whose specialties include trauma and dissociation. My private practice at the offices of Psychological and Neurobehavioral Services in Lakeland included people of all ages, and with a variety of life challenges. Since that time, I have continued to work with a diverse group of individuals. I have worked extensively with children and teenagers, and find that I really enjoy this population.

Some of the many issues that clients have discussed in my office are: self-esteem, body image, anxiety, depression, boundaries, questions about their own life purpose, and issues in their relationships.
